True to our long-time catering roots, Gus’ Café and Grill will be offering catering for events and gatherings. No job is too big or small — we’ve catered everything from intimate family gatherings to large-scale events with 3000 people. We can customize a menu to suit your needs and have plenty of experience at backstage events and concerts, including those at Country Summer, Petaluma Fair, and Rodney Strong Vineyards. We do not leave Sonoma County at this time.

The following is a list of our menu offerings. These can be served in a sit down or buffet-style format at no extra charge. All menus include choice of bread, salad, two sides and main course item. The bread, salad and side selections are listed on the following pages. For weddings we waive the cake cutting fee. All menu plans are flexible and can be tailored to meet your needs. The prices below do not include a 20 % service charge and state sales tax that will be added to final bill. Please see last page for explanation of all charges.
Appetizers and Snacks
Barbecued Oysters or on the half shell: Taylor oysters cooked to perfection on an open flame with our award winning bbq sauce, butter and fresh garlic.
Each order is created to serve 50 guests. Half orders are available on most trays.
Tri-Tip Lollipops: We season our tri-tip with our homemade rub to medium rare. Cut into bite size pieces and skewered, served with a whiskey peppercorn sauce and a raspberry barbecue sauce.
Grilled Vegetable Platter: Seasonal grilled vegetables with an olive oil and balsamic drizzle served cold.
Assorted Cheese Tray: Brie with a sweet or savory topping, Firehouse Cheddar, Bleu, Swiss and Fontina served with fresh berries and nuts. We also offer other cheese selections available.
Antipasta Tray: Marinated artichoke hearts, marinated mushrooms, Kalamata olives, Greek peppers, grilled asparagus and chickpeas.
Assorted Grilled Sausage Platter: Savory sausage served with a sweet and tangy mustard remoulade.
Stuffed Mushrooms: Vegetarian, sausage or cheese.
Assorted Vegetable Tray: Served with choice of dip.
Fresh Fruit Platter: Melons, pineapple, grapes, berries, watermelon.
Assorted Olive Tray
Smoked Salmon: Served with mini bagels, cream cheese, capers and red onion.
Crab Cakes: Made with blue crab served with a red pepper aioli.
Hot Wings: Served with Bleu cheese dressing and celery sticks.
Pulled Pork Sliders: Smoked pork shoulder braised with our Cola BBQ sauce served on a slider roll with coleslaw. Inquire about our other slider assortments.
Chips, Assorted Salsas and Guacamole
Assorted Taquitos: Served with a creamy avocado sauce.
Chicken Satay Sticks: Served with a Thai Peanut sauce.
Bruschetta: Traditional and other varieties available.
Meatball Platter: Choice of Swedish, Hawaiian, Teriyaki, Spanish, Cajun or Barbecue.
Wrap Pinwheels: Vegetarian, Meat and many other fillings available.

STAFFING/SERVICE CHARGES AND TAX
Service staff is provided for your special event at the rates listed below. Included in your menu plan is all the staff required to execute the meal. Servers and bartending staff are not included in the menu cost.
Servers: $25.00 per hour/ 4 hour minimum
Bartender: $25.00 per hour/ 4 hour minimum
*By law all labor is taxable.
State sales tax @ 8.75%
A service charge of 20% is not a gratuity and will be added to your final bill. This fee is used to cover discretionary costs associated with your event. These costs include but are not limited to labor, overtime and overruns, vehicle operations, alcohol liability, additional supplies, etc. Any gratuities received for staff will be equally split between staff according to hours worked.
